This is how life coaching works
Life coaching is highly interactive,
consisting of perceptive listening, insightful questioning,
and powerful dialogue. I ask questions which hit the nail on
the head, which get you thinking and which then
facilitate a lot of interactive discussion. You might talk
quite a bit, but then I might too. This facilitative
dialogue is often seen as at the heart of good life
coaching. I will
-
Work closely to the objectives
we've agreed - and deviate where that is needed,
because that's where it needs to go
-
Manage the
sessions to keep on track
-
Agree actions for between sessions, so that
the coaching in effect continues between sessions
-
Be right
there with you when you need that, respect
your space and decisions when you need that too,
and be mindful always of your goals
-
Be highly
intuitive when it's appropriate, in ways
that pick up your real needs and where there might
be opportunities for insights, realisations,
breakthroughs and discovery of enhanced
possibility
-
Help you try out
or experiment with ideas in practice, so that it
stays practical and grounded in
the real world
-
Challenge
you when you need it and are ready for it
-
Be 100%
committed to your growth and
fulfilment
-
Affirm your
essential worth and value as a
human being, irrespective of how your life is
showing up at present or has done
-
Work by
phone or face to
face as preferred. Phone support
means you can be anywhere in the world
-
Give
e-mail support between sessions if
needed
-
Maintain
confidentiality
At times there may be a psychological
dimension in our coaching and we can tap into
resources that help you overcome deeper obstacles to
progress.
