Terms and conditions for purchase of a product or service

The following are the Terms and Conditions of The Empowering Partnership Ltd for the purchase of a product or service. 

Workshops

"Workshops" can include evening sessions.

Refunds: Workshops, once booked, are non-refundable within 30 days of the event. Refunds, unless booked on-line, will be subject to an administrative fee of £3.50. In certain circumstances however, up to 14 days before the course, the fee paid might instead be transfered by agreement to a future course if it is already publicised and of the same price.

If a workshop is cancelled, all bookings for the date in question will be refunded in full, or by agreement carried over to another workshop of equivalent price.

Pre-course administration: When you book, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. By a week before the event you will also receive an e-mail giving any necessary “joining” information for your attendance on the course (such as what to bring, breaks and lunch arrangements, directions, etc)

Well-being: Attendees should ensure that they are medically fit to attend and if in doubt should consult a doctor. Some workshops involve a little mild cardio-vascular exercise and on occasion for a very few attendees there may be some release of emotion. Generally this is perfectly safe and healthy. However, the workshops are not psychotherapy or counselling or intended as a substitute for it. If in any doubt, attendees should consult their psychotherapist or counsellor to ensure their well-being is sufficient for them to attend. If you have any medical condition that will affect your ability to take part, you should notify the course organisers and facilitators when booking or at least 7 days in advance of the day of the course.

Confidentiality: All work undertaken is in the strictest confidence. This applies both to the organisers and facilitators of workshops and to attendees. At no time should details about a participant be divulged to people who did not attend the programme in such a way that they may be identified.

Life Coaching

Payment: Payment is in advance by bank transfer or Paypal (Paypal has a credit card facility available), normally to have reached our account at least 7 days before a session. Use of Paypal is subject to Paypal's small transaction fee. 

Cancellation: A cancelled or postponed session is payable for any reason, unless it can be re-scheduled, if within 7 days of the session. If the coach cancels, which is rare, he or she will refund any money paid in advance, or by agreement carry it forward to the next session.

Coaching by phone or internet: All coaching calls are to be made and paid for by the client or coachee. We recommend the use of Skype, which is free when made to another Skype member.

Refunds for products

Returns and refunds policy: You can return your purchase to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, with any seals and shrink-wrap intact, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 30 days unless they are faulty. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or, in accordance with our returns policy because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us. When you send your item back to us, we'll process the returned item and then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within four weeks of our receiving your return.

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale and Return of Goods Act 1979 (and amendments).

We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Minors: No goods or services are sold to children under 18 without parental permission. Any such persons must produce the written permission of their parents before purchasing a product or service. No sales under any circumstances are made to children under 16.
