Develop skill in managing the mind and connecting to inner peace

If you are to break free of the shackles of the ego mind and know the inner peace that your heart yearns for, you need to learn skill in managing the mind.

Staying the course, keeping on track, dealing with “your stuff”, seeing when your mind has taken you where you don’t want to go, staying focused on the knowledge that spiritually you are far greater than what trips you up, loving yourself, being present with and growing those seemingly brief times of inner contentment – this is much more the real challenge that many of us face.

Develop and sustain Awareness

This is when skill and insight is needed. What is key is the ability to become skilled at using awareness, both to catch it when you ego is in control, to let go and to re-orientate yourself towards your goals - and to be more skilled at sustaining the positive focus. Using the attributes of the warrior, we develop strength of mind. We refine the skills that we use to shape our thinking, acquire one-pointed focus on what we are seeking to achieve, let go what we do not need in order to achieve our goal, have courage when challenged, and are emboldened by our cause.

This in-depth experiential program aims to help you develop the skills of the spiritual warrior to create the life you want:

  • Understanding the power of the mind in creating your reality
  • The power of cultivating awareness: developing Witness consciousness
  • Knowing when you are caught up in illusion, in “your stuff”
  • Confronting and releasing yourself from your patterns and connecting to inner peace
  • Developing your awareness of your centre of Being, who you really are
  • Utilising the power of Intention to envision and activate the life you want

The program integrates eastern yogic spirituality with contemporary western transpersonal psychology. It is both lecture-based and experiential, with group discussions and activities within the group where you can learn from others. It is designed to help you build your skills and self-awareness and help you remain firm on your journey of personal and spiritual growth.
